Just got my Quatro last night, and i like it so far. Pretty comfortable and it's the first FF mask that's fit with no leaks. I agree about the excessive pressure at the bridge of my nose, though. It puts much more pressure on the bridge than my Activa. Ted, I'm no expert, but i wonder if the mask is...

Make sure it's actually snapped all the way on. My Activa squeeks if i don't have it snapped on all the way.

I've found that hanging the hose over the headboard is more comfortable for me. With it pivoted down, the hose kept getting stuck on the edge of the bed and waking me up. Having the hose pivoted up has really helped. wab, I'm the same way. Bought the Activa first, tried a few other masks, and keep c...

drummer, Cool that you're taking lessons. You'll learn good technique that way, and that's important. echo, I'm still using the original Activa i purchased in May of '05. The cushion is still fine, but the headgear is worn out. I ordered a replacement today... actually debated just buying new headge...

Nope, not the only one. I've been 'Papin' since '05. What do you play? You in a band? I started in school (5th grade), discovered rock in high school, did the symphony thing for a bit, ended up playing C&W in weekend bands... bar scene.. you know, drunks n smoke. Drinking got old, so i 'retired' awh...

Agreed... the best mask i've tried, but i'd like to try a slightly smaller model to see if it's more comfortable. The bit about resting on the upper lip is a bit annoying. But as far as sleeping well, the Activa works great for me. Oh! And a note of encouragement to anyone who's just getting into CP...

Isn't the Quatro ResMed's attempt at converting the Activa to a FF?

Well, it's been a year, and i figured it was time for an update. First.. I realize now that the $970 figure was their retail price. Don't recall exactly what my DME ended up charging my insurance, but it was much less. I'm still using the Activa and sleeping MUCH better than a year ago. Even on thos...

Congrats, DME. Finding the right mask makes a huge difference in how well you sleep. I too like the Activa. It was my first mask, and (although it isn't perfect) still my favorite. The complaints i have about it (quite large for my face and a bit claustrophobic) led me to buy an Aura 6 months ago. T...

Ron, I'm with you! I've had the Aura for about a month now. I still haven't had a decent night's sleep with it because of the leaks. I've bent the wires as much as i dare without restricting air flow. It's just not designed for my head, i guess. Snoozie, I agree; the headgear is not comfortable no m...

Thanks for the rubber band tip. Nicely done. I'll try it tonight. My Aura arrived yesterday, so last night was my first chance to try it. I know it's only been 1 night, but i have some reservations about it. Quality seems to be good, and i like the design... very ingenious, in fact. But it took a bi...

I'm following this conversation closely, and want to thank everyone for taking time to post helpful info like this. I've been using the Activa since i started CPAP almost 6 months ago. It's a great mask, and i'm sleeping pretty well. But the bulk and weight of the thing has always bothered me. I'm h...

Glad to hear the Aura is still getting good reviews. I'll be placing my order for one before the end of the month (insurance covers 1 mask every 6 months).

Ummmm.. something a bit more manly in the HHH, please? I'm afraid the ruffles would clash with my Spiderman underroos.
