Re: New Quattro Air FFM now available at cpap.com
I know some people were wanting to try it. If someone wants to use their insurance to pay for it and thus have their DME supply it....gotta check with them to see if they have it or are willing to get it for you. I checked with my DME about the AIR as Mike is due for new mask this week. She said th...

Re: Odd data problem on Respironics System One INFO screen
I have indeed downloaded SleepyHead (as many of you suggested) and I'm also now registered and using EncoreAnywhere (which has almost no useful info). SleepyHead has confirmed that all of my data is being recorded on the SD card and is also being transmitted to my DME and insurance company accurate...

Re: Odd data problem on Respironics System One INFO screen
Pugsy is on the right track however the actual chronological time you turn the CPAP on and off again is not the deciding factor. If a "session" runs past 12 p.m. GMT (I believe around 7 or 8 a.m. EST) and is longer than 4 hours it will update the screen once the device is shut off, if the "session" ...

Re: Brand New Quattro AIR FFM + Help!
After I saw this post I contacted 3 of my Resmed contacts, 2 said "Resmed does not have bluetooth capability yet", and the third said "Resmed does not have bluetooth capability in the US yet". He would not confirm the existance of bluetooth in other markets however.

Re: Scan of my results (what is RERA and UAR?)
I understand, if this is a smaller hospital I would suggest trying to contact the director of either the Pulmonary, Respiratory, or Cardiology department to get answers about the Sleep Lab. Regarding the information on your CD this is likely a breakdown in the Medical Records department. Your papers...

Re: Scan of my results (what is RERA and UAR?)
Did you have the Sleep lab copy the papers to your disk or did Medical Records do it?

Re: Attorney-urges-Congress-end-sleep-apnea-claims-abuse
Well technically, sleep apnea is not a disability. So the question is are vets getting payments for unresolved issues related to sleep apnea which according to the ADA if I remember correctly constitutes a true disability if they qualify under the definition? In other words, if the apnea has result...

Re: New Player: NOVI Apparently the machine is about the si
The first link is actually correct, they have recieved approval for their CPAP machine. I have not seen it but heard it is around the same form factor.
The second link is to their non-invasive respiratory assist device, not the CPAP.

Re: Heated Hose Question
The hose can be washed using the same process as a regular hose, just let it dry completely before plugging it back in. The temperature of the heated tubing is controled by the large dial on the PAP device. The numbers around the dial (0-5) only control the temperature of the heated tubing. The humi...
