I've been looking at some of those nostril inserts, A different brand. Wondered if it might mean I could return to camping, sans batteries and cpap.
Good to know I can save my money. Shucky darn.
But thanks!

Re: Sleep Apnea Diagnosis
The sad reality is that most medicine these days is practiced by a checklist. If you don't check the right boxes, you won't get a sleep study. I qualified on all the stereotypical factors - obesity, age, snoring, fatigue, etc. But I did NOT, and still DO NOT have GERD. My doctor finally had to tell ...

Re: Mask Swap
You might want to try purchasing from our hosts - who are also a DME. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed-mirage-quattro-full-face-mask-headgear.html I purchase direct from them, then claim to my insurance myself. Saves me alot of time, hassle, and LIES, like the one you're currently experiencei...

Re: CPAP OMG
I am a restless side sleeper, and I jam my face into the pillow. Most masks simply will not work for me. They loosen, they leak, they hurt, they drive me crazy and keep me awake. Several people on this forum recommended the Nasal Aire II to me. I resisted it repeatedly. I was NOT going to shove thin...

I prefer to call it "The Hoarder's Code".

Re: OT - Handicap Parking
CF, that is a GOOD hotel! I used to travel with my father who was blind, deaf, and had trouble walking. If you saw him standing still, he looked like Tom Selleck and looked perfectly healthy. We used handicapped parking spaces and hotel rooms. Never ever had any trouble. But I was always on guard, r...

Re: OT - Handicap Parking
No one has ever asked me why I need a handicapped room. That hotel has some bad staff.
BTW, ANYONE can request a handicapped room. You are not required to state why, or prove your need. That's ridiculous.

Re: No longer needed - found it!
James, I fully believe you're right about that!! Soon as I whine about something, or buy a replacement on Ebay, the first one shows up! The pure sleep can be used for many other things. Just putting some on a cotton ball and setting it around the house can be nice aromatherapy. I had a cannula that ...

Re: Need power cord for Remstar Pro 2
I FOUND THE POWER CORD! And, amazingly, it was in a place I would expect it to be - in a zippered bag with some other cpap supplies. Now that zippered bag was at the bottom of a big pile of random crap, so I can understand that I couldn't find it. But I also got the one from Ebay, so I'll put one in...

Re: Troll Season
Oh thank god! I've been waiting for troll season to open!
Now let's share our favorite troll recipes!
BTW, I'll always take hides. I do leather work. And a nice haunch of troll will freeze well and last me all winter.
LOL,

Re: Want an old Respironics Tank?
Hey I'm a little late on this, but I want to tell you all that James, aka Jamiswolf, is a GREAT PERSON TO DO BUSINESS WITH! Not only did he respond promptly to all PM's, he paid the demanded shipping costs within minutes of me emailing said costs to him, AND I swear he put his fabulous trade item in...
