Or . . .

I ran across this thread while searching for info on the Oracle HC452. I wonder if our mystery person is elderly, or maybe just new to computers? I help an elderly woman with her email and it surprises me many times that she knows how to reply, forward, etc in email one day and another day forgets h...

Nasty Plastic Snake

Tangents, what a fabulous idea - putting fleece on the hose. I loved your comment about making it better when bumping into it in the middle of the night. I still haven't spent even one night on a machine so anything to make it less daunting is wonderful. I did wonder about that nasty plastic snake b...

Won't work - special drivers needed.

I too wondered if any smart card reader would work with the machine I'm interested in: M Series Pro C-Flex CPAP Machine. I called Respironics and talked to a person who put me in contact with the company who manufactures their reader. I spoke to the company who manufacturers the Respironics smart ca...

Small Mouth

I have a small mouth also, and will be using the Oracle HC452 oral device very soon in my first titration. I'll let you know how it goes and if it fits. I am also a bit concerned about the small space from the top of my mouth to my nose.

Dieselgal, I too thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Oracle. This is the device that I hope works for me. (I have yet to get my equipment and I'm here becoming more educated on the topic by the minute!) Anyway, on the drooling, I had a Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD). This device caused a...

Finding the Message

I agree with you Kathy that "the best tool you have is your own story." I'd go a bit further with that though and ask what is at the core of wanting to share the apnea experience with others? It may be caring about others and not wanting them to suffer. In that case, it's rare that a genuine message...

Mandibular Oral Device

I used a Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD) for over a year. I did a sleep study with the device and was told it reduced the occurrences but not enough to be considered a device I should use. The first few months were not pleasant. The doctor said I may experience some salivation when beginning use...

Cheapest machine?

Snoredog, you said "They gave you the cheapest machine and mask in inventory." I think this is the machine I found was the best and now questions my sanity. Which do you consider the best?

Thanks

Newbie 2

John, like you, I'm a newbie to all of this and have already found cpap talk invaluable! I'm so glad I found it - and therefore, all of you. Thanks also in advance for all your help. I've scoured the internet and spent a lot of time with my equipment/device provider looking for the equipment I want....

Aura Sizing Guide

Hi

I'm new here and this is my first post. I've joined the forum to decide which equipment/devices I want to get. I read your post and looked up the Aura to see what it was and found this - hope it helps.
