Use listerine or some other agent like a diluted solution of bleach.

Remove all your rubber seals before you use bleach though, and make sure to wash thoroughly afterward.

Laying it out in the sunlight after using the bleach for 4-5 hours will also destroy any remaining chlorine.

I didnt get a chance to read everything everyone wrote, so sorry if this has been said already, but you cant expect to change how many ever years of sleeping/eating habits in just a couple of weeks.

Getting your body adjusted to the therapy can take some time and patience.

I always find that if I just do some things to relax, like take a hot bath and chill down the house so i have to bundle up under the covers, that I fall asleep much faster.

You have mildew or mold in your hose for sure.

That is how mine gets if i dont clean it regularly.

Use the vinegar solution mentioned above, it will kill the mold/mildew.
