Re: Switching between nasal pillows & mask ?

I was having problems with the nasal pillows irritating my nostrils until I found one that worked for me. So for over a yar I was switching masks every few days. So go ahead and switch. The key is to stay with the therapy and if that is what it takes then its a good solution for you.

Re: OPUS 360 Pre-2008 Pillows

Thanks for the offer, but used my medium too much for it to be fair. Its okay, got the Swift LT and though the swivel isn' the same the pillows are alot like the original OPUS ones. Used 2 nights now with no irritation.

Re: OPUS 360 Pre-2008 Pillows

The original pillows were made of thinner silicone and were softer and more flexible. They don't irritate my nostrils like the new ones do. Both the old and new seal decently, I just don't have a tolerance for the new ones.

As they said, side of the finger and you'll be fine for typing. I guess I am a little surprised you were prescribed Metaformin, especially as only pre-diabetic. My Doctor diagnosed me as Diabetic but strongly suggested I control it through diet. Just by cutting down on the carbs I have brought my bl...

I love my Opus. Its lighter than the Swift and the swivel elbow allows me to toss and turn without any seal loss.. I don't attach the hose to anything and route it over my headborad when at home. It is like wearing nothing now. On the road I just run the hose to the side and still have little interf...

I have been using the Opus since it was first introduced and absolutely love it. I run my hose over my headboard and the swivel lets me turn over without even feeling the mask. It is the first nasal pillow mask that I could use without having to switch between it and a nasal mask to give my nares a ...

Johnny, I think we all fall into the category of Sleep Disturbed or Sleep Impaired. There is a problem with the use of the term Apnea or Apneacs as it sounds foreign to most people. But I guess plain english won't suffice either, because "People who might snore or stop breathing throughout the night...

Housebreaking Your Mask (Humor)

Having suffered through a dozen or so masks, I have come to one conclusion. A new mask is no different than a new puppy. Sure it looks good on the website and some of us even look forward to its arrival. But when finally get it home it leaks all over the place and makes strange noises at night to ke...

You can only get it from australia. The sensors are for the Puritan Bennet Autopaps. If you have any other brand machine then you do not need the one with the sensor.

I started out with mediums and they leaked. When I moved to large it solved the problem. As long as the hole in them isn't too big for your nostrils you should be okay with a larger size. In fact the bigger size will help keep it from going into your nose. Remember don't do the straps too tight. I a...
