Great news Gary your previous graph shows this AI: 6.3 HI: 15.8 AHI: 22.1 your current graph AI 2.4 HI 9.9 AHI 12.3 You have reduced you overall AHI by nearly 50% but the big one is AI which is down nearly by two thirds Just fine tuning now and making sure no mouth leaks. A different mask might help...

Okay an EPR of 3 is a big jump unless your really having difficulty with resistance. At around 10 in Apap you mentioned you could hardly feel any resistance right? If it were me I would go back to basics. Did your Doc prescribe 13 or 14 straight Cpap? if so do that first no EPR for a while at least ...

Gary as Bill said. If you scroll back you will see where I mentioned inc press for EPR for eg if you select an EPR of 1 and your regular pressure is 14, you may then need to increase that to 15cm.
EPR2 16cm
EPR3 17cm
How do you handle straight cpap without EPR?

The only thing I can think of is that Resmed do not respond to events in Auto mode over 10cm. In that case you would need to set the Minimum at what your doctor prescribed and leave the max at 20 ( works for me). According to that link you posted (thanks for that BTW ), isn't the above incorrect? E...

Here is the link explaining why the machine wont respond over 10cm. Also as explained to you before you will need to post your sleep study here regarding the possibility you may have centrals and that's another ball game way out of my league http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=31125&highlight=re...

If your throat collapses the machine wont increase the pressure any further than 10 to reopen your throat. That could be why you have so many red spikes or events. You need 13cm to keep your throat open enough to breath properly

Mislead you a bit. Its a fact resmed machines don't respond to events over 10cm in Auto mode so you need to raise the minimum. It wasn't a deduction but the machine tries to stop them from occurring under 10. The red arrows are how long the events last for and the left hand side is seconds not press...

I've got a friend who's been using CPAP for years and he told me that he woke up from his very first night using it feeling unbelievably refreshed etc, and he's been like that ever since. I guess I've been so desperate to feel better that perhaps I'm a little unrealistic in my expectations......I j...

Tape your mouth shut and if you must vomit where would it go? out your nose which is not so bad when you think about it especially if you have sinus issues. We could even name it here. My suggestion is a ROYAL FLUSH
Just my .02 cents

Just this morning I woke at 5 am and changed to a full face mask and slept for another 1.5 hours and during this time I was in a full technicolor movie style dream. very vivid however I woke feeling worse than when I did at 5 am. This happens a lot for me and it seems I get stuck in REM and am not a...

There must be some pilots out there who are hosing. Although that's one condition they wouldn't need to disclose but I wonder how it affects them
