Re: cpap.com poor customer service

I consider CPAP.COM a premier supplier of equipment, as they have always answered my questions in a very courteous and responsible manner, and their shipping is outstanding, and their pricing has always been great.

Re: Heated Hoses

John I've had mine for 2 or 3 years also, and had a problem about a year ago that was caused by the power plug from the power supply to the hose connection. Even though it has been Ok ever since, I have noticed that this connection does get quite warm sometimes, and that removing and reinserting it ...

Re: Should CPAPtalk Filter Or Allow The Dental Device PR Spam?

I think that he wrote his own ticket to be banned when he chose the name for his website, and then posted reference to it here...very unethical in my opinion.

Re: ResScan 3.5: Spikes on my leak chart

I have also had these spikes show up, but have found that I can usually eliminate them by continuing to breath normally for a little bit after turning off the blower, and then disconnecting the hose and mask from the flow generator. The spikes that used to show up before actually falling asleep were...

Re: Call For CPAPAuction.com Feedback System Opinions

I have made purchases from both E Bay and Cpap auction, and have never had a bad transaction, however I do not like what E Bay has instituted, since I had previously closely looked at feedback to make my decisions as whether to bid on an item or let it go. DON'T FIX what isn't broke.

Re: Curiosity Thread - Data check frequency?

I check mine and my wife's every evening after work. See slight changes from time to time, both using AUTO machines, wife's is Respironics auto w\cflex, (TANK), and I am using a Resmed Auto Set Vantage. I prefer the more detailed style of software data output from the Resmed over the Respironics. Bo...

Re: Mask Wipes?

I wash mine weekly, and remove any skin oil nightly with a kleenex and rubbing alcohol. Have been doing this for almost a year now, and the mask still looks and seals like new. (Activa mask)

I think that the only thing that will adhere to silicone is silicone itself. Available in small quantity tubes at most any hardware store. I would use the kind labeled RTV silicone, and make absolutely sure that the surfaces have no oil film on them, and allow 24 hours to cure. Good Luck

I would not use bleach on a humidifier that has any part made of aluminum, since the bleach will attack the aluminum. Even though these bases have a protective coating on them, there may be a tiny opening somewhere that will allow the reaction of bleach to destroy the aluminum plate under the protec...

I usually remove the card after I close resscan, and I never disconnect the reader from my pc. I don't think it would make any difference when you removed the card after downloading the data, unless you want to change the setup parameters for your machine via the card.

You might also try "secondwindcpap.com", they seem to have reasonably priced used machines.

I just thought of something else that might be of help. When installing the card reader, you do NOT connect the reader to the computer until the WIZZARD asks for you to do so, also make sure you choose the correct operating system that you are using.

I don't think that you ruined anything, and you most likely did copy the data to the card. I think that you probably need to set up the resscan software properly. Did you fill out the patient information?, Open the patient (yourself) file, The start download window should show this file. Hope this h...

I had torn my right shoulder rotator cuff about 10 years ago, and had the corrective surgery, the pain after surgery was so bad, worse than my kidney stones. So last July when I dislocated the same shoulder, and found out that I tore the cuff again, 2 places shown on MRI, my surgeon recommended surg...
