I hate to sound like a broken record: But cut out as much sugar and carbs as you can! The more sugar I eat; the more I HAVE to have. I mean, like a drug addict. I wish I had learned in my teens what I learned in my 40's about insulin. Insulin is the taxi cab that escorts the sugar into the cells. -Bev

Isn't it gut wrenching to watch a loved one suffer? Especially something basically preventable. My dad has COPD and related issues from smoking most of his life. He was in the Navy for 20 years and cigarettes were a little cheaper to get on the base. What a bargain, huh...my mom and my siblings get ...

Could you do it during the day and you're possibly too busy to notice? I did this much more before CPAP treatment. Shallow breathing, non breathing.
