I just posted about this subject too! I have been on my CPAP machine for two weeks and have been dreaming almost every night. I only seem to remember bits and pieces, but before the CPAP I cannot remember dreaming at all. I think I am still in that transition phase and that may explain why I'm dream...

Dreaming
Tonight is the two week anniversary of my being on the CPAP machine. I am still adjusting, but doing well. I have not noticed much of a change in my tiredness during the day. One thing I have noticed is that I am dreaming. I remember bits and pieces. Prior to the CPAP I can't remember the last dream...

Almost a week...
Hi all, I've been on my CPAP machine for 5 days now (nights, actually). I feel I am getting used to it and have done pretty well. I have not had any problems since the first night (when i gave up and took off my swift at 3:30 am). I have been averaging 6-7 hours a night on it. I have not noticed any...

Update: Night 2
I spent my second night at home hooked up to my CPAP equipment. It went better than the night before. I did sleep, and the swift stayed on the entire time. I got 7 hours. I'm still tired, but better than yesterday. Maybe there's hope......

Well, my first night at home with the new equipment was tough. I will say the swift nasal pillow system is NOT as uncomfortable as I anticipated. Also, I seemed to do ok breathing through my nose so maybe the tape will not be required. I did have a hard time getting comfortable and getting used to t...

Thank you, laurie2025, for the info and the words of encouragement. And thanks to all that posted. There is alot of good information here. Honestly, I am dreading going to bed tonight. But I will press on and hopefully be successful, eventually. If this mask does not work for me I may need to look a...

Thanks Rabid1, I'm looking forward to learning all I can here. The respiratory specialist seemed to think that the swift would be easiest for me while sleeping on my stomach. I also have the mask and frame that goes over the nose (that's what I slept with last night). But not anything that goes over...

Hello all (newbie here)
Hi all, Last night I had my second sleep over at the center. I had all the wires and monitoring equipment, as well as the CPAP mask. It was a very uncomfortable night and I did not fare well. This morning I was fitted with my take home equipment: ResMed S8 Escape, ResMed "Mirage Swift" nasal pillow ...
