Re: Chin Strap recommendations please
I use a papcap with a resmed f20 mask. Zero leaks most nights, I wear it more towards the front of my chin so minimal contact with the underside of my chin and jaw, where I feel it would have more impact on my breathing. I wear it so there is only a thin band of it holding my jaw shut. https://pur-s...

Yeah, I saw your announcement post later after I wrote that, I checked it's not me, I have zero attachments stored at this point. Sorry about not seeing your announcement before I wrote that.

Long time bipap user could use some help
Hi, I have been doing CPAP/Apap and then Bipap for a long time. On CPAP for many years my cpap pressure gradually increased with the years, I then moved to Bipap about 12 years ago and my pressures have been static. I looked at my ahi regularly, they were generally low, and sleep doctors I had were ...

Re: Sticky: Phillips / Philips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
For those who had relatively new machines under warranty, many may end up with repaired machines with no warranty. I find this completely unacceptable if it's the case. Further, by the time they get around to handling the recall, many will be already acclimated to Resmed machines and have no desire ...

Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
And this treatment should be ILLEGAL. When are the Congressional hearings? Somebody deserves a subpoena! Maybe they will come right before or after the HIPPA violations for keeping people from accessing/utilizing their raw health data contained on their own machine data card, which some vendors now...

Re: Airfit F20
Hey Barbee,
I had a better night with the Air Touch last night, I tried it again because of your encouragement. You washed it ? How often and how well did it hold up?
Thanks,
Brian

Re: Airfit F20
Thanks Jas, At my pressure, once they get stretched even if they shrink back their worn new stretchability means they allow the mask more movement, which means more leaks, followed by more tightening and everything that results from the tightening. At this point, I just accept the cost, but the new ...

Re: Airfit F20
Thank's Barbie, That's good to know. I barely get a month out of the FX, if I am lucky. The straps are thin and get stretched out, the cushion wears thin and loses its stickiness over time, the mask itself is prone to slide as well, that's why I am kind of into finding something else. Have a nice day...

Re: Airfit F20
Thanks Barbie, I hear what you're saying. This is the second or 3rd stretch of a couple of days I have tried. I ordered one of the new versions of the elbow to see if that's more to my liking. I didn't take well to the f10 in the past either. It's hard to force yourself to use something that makes y...

Airfit F20
Hi, I reviewed a number of posts about this mask and the valve, I also have to question its output. I have been on CPAP or BiPAP for about 15 years. I wear the Quattro fx daily and get okay numbers. Can be as low as .63 ahi to 2.63 typically. Every time I try one of the new ResMed airfit variants my...

Re: SleepyHead Series 60 Patch Avail
Hi Rich,
I can confirm that on Linux the patch doesn't work right for the 60 Series Bipap. It built fine, but most of the graphs were missing and the AHI was with crazy numbers. I saw AHI over 1000. Is there anything I can do to help get this resolved ?

Re: SleepyHead Series 60 Patch Avail
Thanks Rich,
I was able to pull down the sources, I will now give building a try. I do have the new bipap machine so I am not sure from some of the other comments it will behave right once built, but I will give it a try anyway.

Re: Encore Pro 2 data
Hi All, I know this is delayed, but someone may find it useful. I just determined on encore pro that if you switch the default Windows 7 printer to another printer it creates the "unable to create the report to display. Please contact product support for help. If you switch the default printer to Mi...
