some people--myself for one--find that using the humidifier actually causes the nose to get stuffy; i use my HH as a passover only; but i also use a nasal rinse (neilmed) to keep the passages moist and clear also, the way my ENT explained it, the two nostrils sort of cycle, sometimes both are open, ...

ditto what jeffh said but i had my septum repaired so that i could breathe better and more easily, eliminate headaches, chronic congestion, sneezing fits and to help my cpap to work optimally, not ever in the hope that it would elminate the need for cpap...my apneas are due to throat anatomy, not be...

At least he sees the deal and knows what can happen when you get 25 pounds overweight like I did . be careful with this billy i was low to normal weight my whole life...only became over weight 3 years ago, and i know now i've OSA all my life i became overweight due to OSA, not the other way around ...
