Yes, Johnny and staff, let me add my congratulations. You succeeded in cleaning up the forum and at the same time maintained the ability of guests to post on cpaptalk. While I doubt we will hear an admission of, "Yes, we were wrong," from those who so strongly opposed allowing guests to post, I'm su...

Re: Mouth-breathing
So, don't fret if you're unable to stop mouth-breathing on your own. It may just be a matter of facial architecture. I guess I'll have to accept that, because I've tried all the suggestions. I realize it's not a big deal to have to tape, but hearing others have verifiable proof they've been success...

I really thought I was making progress back when I was attempting to do this, but the data showed otherwise. In my search for a successful method, I came across this: Unders...

3. Roll out the CPAP hose so it is near the bed ( I'm using 14 foot of hose so the noise does not bother my wife) Wow! Carl, did you adjust your pressure to compensate for that 14 foot long hose? By the time the air gets to your mask, you're no longer getting the pressure your machine is set for. A...

Thanks for answering my questions, mattman. As a result of your answers, I have a few more questions: 2) -Some DMEs use the same code for both APAP and CPAP and then bill the patient an upcharge for the APAP. You're saying this is legal and this upcharge is determined by the insurance policy and not...

mattman, In another thread, I said I thought the same billing code was used for both APAP and CPAP. Your response was: There is a little bit of a very common confusion in what you are looking at and what you are asking. As is commonly referenced, Insurance Companies do not have a specific code set u...
