Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

I wonder why it is just in the U.S.? Would other countries use different materials? I'm due for a new machine this week and asked for the Dreamstation. Looks like what we call a recall notice goes by another term internationally: From this Phillips page https://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/e/slee...

Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread

Thanks so much. I will email to ask about the Dreamstation 2. So glad I asked and that you are still here. (endless knowledge). It was good timing that I found this out before getting the new machine. :)

Re: Wisp vs Dreamwisp?

Late to the topic but I tried the Wisp years ago and didn't get a good seal. I gave up on it. I am now trying the Dreamwisp and it is the most comfortable mask I have used in my 13 years using cpap but I feel like I might not be getting as much air or struggle to exhale more. I have always used nasa...

Re: What's Going On With The Forum

I just wondered why after pages of IDs with lots of letters there was one that looked "normal" and wondered if bots were picking up ID off internet users after creating so many that look alike.
Not making sense I am sure.

Re: What is going on?

I put this on the wrong thread.

Are spammers IDs created by a bot and read as random letter/numbers? I googled one of them called sked1971 and unless the spammers randomly chose someone's internet ID it is an actual person.

Re: Behavior in this Forum

This USED to be the best cpap forum. I used to recommend cpap.com and cpaptalk it to friends and people on other forums. I now lead them away from it. I had been away for a while but came back when my two sisters were diagnosed earlier this year. I had told them about this site and was surprised to ...

Mocking Aspergers...a new low. At least Tat lady is interesting and funny. You are just vile and I can see why many people don't return. It was a civilized forum in the old days. Sad that Pugsy's helpfulness will soon disappear as more people vacate. I blame the host. Luckily my recently diagnosed w...

Re: I called the Doctor's Office and spoke to the receptionist

I'm afraid I was one to jump on the 'ugly' bandwagon and let my irritation get in the way of compassion. My apologies to enchanter and others exposed to the vile posts. It was very immature of me. Sorry.

Re: New to the site but not the CPAP

If I took a 1/4 mg of klonipin before sleep I would be groggy the next day. I am not surprised you don't have energy. Is there any way you can cut it back?

Sorry you are having struggles but there are lots of smart people here (I'm not one but they will come by) to help you get it going.
