I second the larger pillow. It made a huge difference for me. I also think it's almost impossible to find an ideal mask. I settle on least shitty.
I hope you find something that works.

Almost worth the 6 hour delay to have that great information. Glad you are ok. Enjoy your trip.

Re: New to OSA and CPAP therapy - help!
I wonder if trying a different mask would help? Since you admit to not really having been totally compliant I think it is worth it to give it a good solid try.

Re: You all are thanked
Cardsfan probably assumed he was really interested in whether she felt better....and not that her response would lead to it being about him.
Welcome to faulty tower Cardsfan. Great help here from many knowledgeable (and helpful) cpap people. I have learned a lot from them.

It would have stopped the first day if he'd been ignored.

Responding to him has become as pathological as his behaviour.

Re: Specific question about Split Test
Hi hang fire. I am curious to know why you didn't call out the previous two posters for mocking my use of language? It is interesting who gets away with rudeness on the forum and yet speaking back to them is shunned.

Re: Specific question about Split Test
change "coddling" to "ass kissing". That better? (reminder to self...know your audience) He doesn't have to figure it out on his own because it is being done for him and likely always has been done for him...thus the narcissism and dependency. He needs to grow up and continuing to "ass kiss" is not ...

Re: Specific question about Split Test
I believe that enabling this behaviour is doing harm to this person and will perpetuate or increase the anxiety. Why not assume he can figure it out on his own and he might live up to that expectation? If he is left to manage his life without being babysat he might just step up and take care of hims...

Re: Should this become a 'Sticky'?
Ted, You have just made yourself several steps lower than a troll by posting private messages. You are a cry baby and don't deserver to have been anywhere near someone like Pugsy. I was starting to think you had some psychological problems but now see that you are just a really repugnant person.

Re: my husbands diagnosis of OSA
I have yet to hear a single comment from the husband. I don't care if he works or not. Now see - how does that help?! Several of us have gently suggested the same thing. But here you come with the negativity and talk of failure. You, Sir, are sadly lacking in people skills! that's a nice way of say...

Re: Should this become a 'Sticky'?
The main troll is only bad when his mom gets home from work and he is forced to the basement and is both bored and angry at mom and needs to take it out on somebody.
The rest of the members are brilliant regarding treatment and many really funny to boot....worth sticking around for that.

My AHI is lower with a nasal mask than with pillows. I also noticed that i feel better the day after using a nasal mask than with pillows. Guess i have to go back to my Eson and all that head stuff.
