SoftGel/ComfortGel Challenge

No need for me to take the Mirage SoftGel versus ComfortGel Challenge. I already have switched to the SoftGel and love it. Will never use the ComfortGel again. Always had to have back-ups for when they break. Have a couple of new ones I will never use. I just received a second SoftGel for a back-up....

02 adapter

Good point about the 02 adapter. Looks like I have things to learn about it. Hadn't thought about a check valve. Need to talk to a friend who uses 02 with her cpap. Thanks. Ron

ComfortGel Nasal Mask

Just received a new ComfortGel Nasal Mask from cpap.com. Came in two days. Amazing! Have been with this mask from the beginning. Like other members on this board, I have been all around the place trying new masks. This is still the best one for me. (seem to have a strange nose.) I really only needed...

Plugged nose

I can relate to the nose plugging. Have also been told that it is normal for one side to plug at a time. I have had very sticky type mucus. My nose Doctor told me that drinking coffee actually dries you up and you need to drink a glass of water just to counter the cup of coffee. I didn't really do t...

Encore Pro Problem

I printed out a report at the end of October with my Encore Pro. I tried it again tonight and there are no entries on the smart card since the last report. Obviously I didn't do something right. This is hard stuff to learn. Surely someone has the answer. Ron

Everyone here knows how you feel Linda. I'm an old "pro" of 45 days and I can't imagine going to bed without it. You might even have the wrong equipment. Most of us started out with different machines than we end up with. Myself, I couldn't do the cpap. Always ended up with it on the pillow next to ...

I second all that has been said here. Really do want you to hang in here. A good example is this thread. I never knew that GERD could be caused by too much Motrin. Heck, I used to make the stuff! Love your sign off line. "Best link between despair and hope is a good nights sleep." I think about that...

This may be way off base, but I will go with it. I had just awful congestion in my throat. Was coughing up nasty stuff and could hardly breathe. Did every anti-biotic known to man. Problem ended up from Acid Reflux. Thought I had it under control, but Doc said that it still was there in my throat. S...

Good luck! Love my Padacheeks. Only wish I had ordered two very different colors for the top and bottom. Would help when putting the mask on in low light.

Good advice here

Just got home from a Colonoscopy. Glad I read the advice here from other people who have had surgery. The last surgery I had, I stopped breathing in the middle of it. Actually was the way I found I had Sleep Apnea. This time I insisted that they work with my Sleep Doctor. Used my Bi-pap machine duri...

I never knew they gave you a kazoo when you came to a conference here. If you can hum, you can play it. I thought they just gave out those "Yes, there Really Is a Kalamazoo" buttons.
