Re: SPO 7500 vitascore software- computer crash

Wow, Packer. You must have gotten the last copy of the software. I had the same thing happen -- computer crash, can't find the disc anywhere. I called SPO, and have been told they do not have the software available. I need the same 1.40 version. If you or anyone else is willing to share an ISO of th...

Re: SUFFOCATION IS POSSIBLE

If you don't want to do something, one excuse is as good as another. (Yiddish proverb)

Just do it already, and get on with your life. You may be amazed at how much of it you get back.

Re: VISIT DME IN PERSON ?

If you use the DME you have a 30 day exchange priviledge on the mask if it doesn't work out. Not so with the internet unless you purchase return insurance which will wipe out the $$$ savings Be sure to verify that before purchasing, preferably getting it in writing. Not all DME have a 30 day exchan...

Re: How did YOU Resolve Your Mouth-Leaks? (poll)

My pressure is set at 11-14. I generally run 11-12 most of the year, and 12-13 during the spring allergy season. I should warn you about the drool when using the DIY mouthguard. It was bad at first. That's why I continued to work towards a thinner, lighter mouthguard. The less amount of plastic I ha...

Re: How did YOU Resolve Your Mouth-Leaks? (poll)

I meant to add that when I started with the DIY mouthguard, I followed the posted instructions. Eventually, I got better at molding the appliance by making it thin as possible, but still using the same overall design. Towards the end, I molded part of the guard so that it fit under my tongue only, g...

Re: How did YOU Resolve Your Mouth-Leaks? (poll)

I failed at polident and taping. I admit that I didn't try very hard at either method. I succeeded using the DIY mouthguard method. I went through many of those over a time span of a close to a couple of years. I no longer use it. My tongue now stays up on the top of my mouth on its own blocking air...

Re: Eating the Low-Carb Way: your place to share

I have only one concern, I want to reduce weight but i'm also trying to reduce my high cholesterol. Without access to the whole thing without paying i'm not sure if it will be a good idea or not? Which part of your cholesterol is high? If you felt good on low carb except for running out of energy f...

Re: Blood Pressure Medicine (getting off)

Yes. I was able to stop BP meds. It was combining xPAP treatment with a low carb diet that has made the difference for me. With exercise, it tends to get even better, but I'm still not as consistent with that as I should be.

Re: Friend/Foe Feature

Na, the original intention of those flags was for the drunks to see them better to navigate into them. Given my experience at that particular facility, I don't doubt that the flag may have been helpful in that respect. I kind of remember that the hydrant wasn't particularly close to where vehicles ...

Re: Friend/Foe Feature

You can ski the on and off ramps of I88 when it snows around lisle they usually wait for it to melt instead of plowing. Yes. I am very familiar with the solar method of snow removal. It seems to be very common in these parts this year, too. I had a good boss who tried to not send us to Lisle in the...

Re: Friend/Foe Feature

Yes there are hills here in Chicagoland, they just started out as landfills! I am originally from NH and even after 17 years of living here miss the mountain views. Isn't there snow skiing around Lisle or somewhere in that area? Seems like there used to be back when I was going to school there ofte...

Re: my cat can she have osa/centrals

Cats have a "polycyclic" sleep wake cycle, which means that they get shorter periods of wake and sleep throughout the 24 hour day. Many animals are diurnal (humans) or nocturnal (rodents), but cats have elements of each. Cats are neither diurnal nor nocturnal. Cats are crepuscular. I can hear one s...

Re: dropped APAP/broken-under warranty???

If I remember correctly from reading when I dumped my Elite when it was less than three months old, water damage voids the warranty. I unplugged my machine as soon as I realized what had happened. I shook out as much water as I could, and let it dry out. I also used a hair dryer set on the no-heat s...
