Tomjax said "I could write a book on dumb prescribing by docs and the errors missed by pharmacists." As a patient affected by some of these errors, I could contribute to his book. So, Julie, it is important for patients to learn as much as they can from the internet and books, and also listen to fri...

Thanks, Karen. I just e-mailed this to my DME RT. When I saw her a few weeks ago, she seemed unaware of CMS' new bidding scheme for DME's.

hkelly1, when my GP said I might have sleep apnea and he wanted to send me to a sleep specialist, I told him that I sleep well and the problem couldn't be sleep. Also, I am not a snorer. But I did want to feel better, so I went to the sleep lab and the test showed I have severe sleep apnea. So, yes ...

Alisha,

Every doctor I have mentioned this to has said it was not a result of the burst eardrums. Since it started after the accident,...

I have my pressure set at 11 also. We are all different, but using the ramp did not work for me. The pressure increase after I am asleep wakes me up. If you should decide to try sleeping without the ramp, you might want to wear the mask with machine blowing at full speed for a few minutes before you...
