ResMed doesn't have a System One model of anything. System One is Respironics model.
So which brand is it????
Sorry typo, this is what happens when you are tired :-)

OSCAR with Resmed System One ASV

Long time since I have been around here ... I'm currently on a Resperonics System One BiPAP ASV machine. The OSCAR software looks at the data but it seems to not have the time correct. Is there a way to correctly align the time or alternatively does someone have the actual Respend Encore Pro which I...

Resmed CPAP software

I have been using SleepyHead for a long time to read my CPAP data. It doesn't seem to be working any more and is no longer being updated. Are their any other options?

Re: Seeking recommendation on new APAP

Welcome back to the forum. Thanks Gryphon. I've had chronic sinus problems since I was a kid. I had one doctor who seamed all excited to root around inside my nose with a "cauterizing wire" his words... but I turned down the offer. In my opinion cauterization is one of the more risky sinus procedur...

Re: Seeking recommendation on new APAP

I followed a lot of recommendations and decided on the Resmed AirSense 10 Autoset with heated humidity. I've only been looking into this a couple days but based on the recommendations here and my own research I'm thinking this is what I will get. I remember you and from time to time have wondered a...

Seeking recommendation on new APAP

Hello everyone. Most of you probably won't remember me but I used to be a regular here. Sadly in 2011 I was injured in a nasal surgery and haven't been around since then. You can read more about my story at nasalcripple.com . I'm very grateful for all the support I received on this forum way back th...

Re: Low Vitamin D level appears to cause sleep apnea

Stasha Gominak MD, a neurologist practicing in Texas, reports having found a cure for sleep apnea. Yes, I said a cure. The fundamental problem with this idea in my opinion is not understanding that sleep apnea doesn't have a single cause so it can't have a single cure. Maybe D3 is could be the caus...

Re: Encore Pro Analyzer source code

Can you tell us what language you wrote this in, and what development environment you have used? Hi Ron, EPA was written in Microsoft's C# and it talks to the Encore Pro Database via SQL. I used Visual Studio as the development environment. This was the first application that I had written in C# an...

Encore Pro Analyzer source code

Hello everyone, As many of you know Encore Pro Analyzer has not worked with Respironics Encore Pro since version 2.x was introduced. This is due to the fact that Respironics changed the data base schema in that version. They had regularly made small changes to the database schemea in previous versio...

Re: Update on James Skinner

How did it go, James? The trip to Cleveland went as good as could be expected I guess. I was hoping for a miracle but of course that didn't happen. Nothing can be done to cure the damage done to my nose in March. I'm having a very hard time accepting that fact and living with the physical agony. I ...

PS I miss Snoredog... Yeah I think that a lot of us do James... at least those that have been around long enough to have known him... or those that have run across his posts. If anyone knows his family's mailing address please PM me with it. I tried to send a note to his family after his death but ...

Re: Measuring oxygen overnight as a correlate to OSA?

I’m intrigued by SleepingUgly’s comment: “Personally when I think of UARS, I think of RERAs and FLs. When I think of OSA, I think of OAs and Hypopneas.” Do other people think of these similarly? Yes that's the way that I normally view it. And to me Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB) is a more generic...

Re: Where can I download Encore Pro 2?

Unfortunately I don't think Mr Skinners little tool will not work with Encore Pro 2xxxx. No unfortunately it does not. They changed the database schema in 2.x I always planned to try and figure out the new schema and update EPA when I got feeling better. Now with my latest health battle (Empty Nose...
