Good luck Kim, it sounds like you have a lot of issues going on right now. I have been on CPAP for over a year continuously and on and off for several years. I don't feel any better as far as my energy, concentration or overall health, in fact I would say my health is declining. I still try tough it...

Good question. The flow limitation info is not available in cpap mode. in addition, in auto mode the pressure will increase .5 cm above the max setting, if required.

Encore Software Flow Limitation & CPAP mode

Why is that in CPAP mode the Encore s/w will not show you flow limitation yet, if you "trick" it into CPAP mode eg. Low 9 High 9 then it will show you everything?

Anxiety is manageable and depression is almost gone. Insomnia is under control and I am off Ambien altogether. Doctors can be very quick to put people on antidepressants. They might work for some people, but they did not work for me (actually made things worse). But, you're already dependent on a d...

I heard two different women explain at a sleep apnea workshop today that since starting cpap therapy, they are no longer diagnosed as psychotic. The RT then explained that adrenaline shoots into your system during a drop in O2 levels, and that can cause some people to start awake in a panic - terro...

Hey,

Thanks!.

Yes, I am still on CPAP. Lowered the setting, but we're not sure what do right now. At 40 and not obese, I hope to be around for a while but with these doctors, I dunno.

I hate doctors

Well, it looks like I was right but 4 different doctors disagreed at the time. I got my MRI results back and I have had a stroke. This *may* explain my centrals as most people who have central apnea have had a stroke. My doctor had a guilty look on his face. I cant help wonder if any of those anti a...

The keypoint to remember is if the employee is treating his/her apnea and if treatment is successful. For many, they may not be achieving satisfactory results with treatment, which in turn leads to the all the common issues with sleep apnea: poor concentration, forgetfullness, inability to focus, es...

I take it, you ended up with the predecessor to the M I was renting the tank and I was able to compare the two side by side [subjectively]. As my hearing is still excellent, I noticed the difference big time. If one hearing is not good, is not bothered by noise, or is a heavy sleeper then the noise...

You need to take the M series home and have a listen...at your DME you probably will not be able to tell how loud it is. That's what happened to me. At my DME it was a little louder than mine then when I took it home on a Friday and just trying it and OMG, it was freaken loud. It went back on Monday...
