weary soul, I bought a select comfort sleep number mattress and really don't like it. You don't get that ahhh factor when you lie down and I bought a four inch foam mattress topper to put on it. It helps but I would buy a latex mattress next time.Try out the comfort aire before you buy it.

I think you are probably lying in a different position and not moving for a period of time. I know thats what happened to me when I first started with the cpap. Its better now.

I use melatonin too and find it doesn't leave me groggy and with a hangover like benadryl. I also give it to my border collie for thunderstorm anxiety.
